Forward Architecture were appointed to reconfigure the internal arrangement of this property to provide additional residential apartments. With our knowledge of the local and national planning policies, we were able to make better use of the current flat layouts. The site was very sensitive to its surrounding neighbours, one being a grade II listed church and church hall which wrapped around the site. In additional to the existing flats, by extending upwards we achieved two more residential units, make 8 residential units in total on this site. Following a lengthy process of gaining planning and construction phase, once the project was completed our clients were delighted with the finished product and we have since looked at other existing estates for them.
